It is stunning that the HDSB report is calling this Scenario #5 – it clearly is not. The BRC could not decide on one final Scenario but instead forwarded three to the steering committee. Scenario #1 keeps the lines drawn clear; ET living above Upper Middle attend the new HS. Strong FI programming continues at Blakelock. Abbey Park has no FI and is still over capacity six years in by over 400 students! There is not room for FI secondary programming in the north but suddenly a “walk to school” is more important than enough programming for numbers. “Flip Flop” – heard that phrase before? That school will be packed like sardines over this decision to the detriment of all – what a shame.

I’m so disappointed with the whole process – It’s blatently biased against English speaking children in the community – I’m sick of having FI programs shoved down my throat! We’ve been lied to and deceived once again and I for one have lost all faith in the HDSB trustees and the minister – What’s it going to take for our (English) voice to be heard?

This I don’t agree with. Remember “Thriller” to date the biggest selling album in history. Before that “Off The Wall” which had sold 12 million albums at that time. Both were made before any lighting of his skin. And with “Bad” 7 # ones, done when his color though lighter was still a black mans’ skin-tone. In fact his album sales decreased as his skin lighten. Not The cause, just a note. He was phenomenal. That unique soul that comes along once in centennial that has “It”. Just that simple. I too never believed him guilty. Thought he was dumb for letting stranger kids in his bedroom, but I’ve always been a true believer in his goodness and innocence. I stood up for during that trail that should have been. Been a fan 1969.
